About

I was born in Seoul, Korea and moved to New York as a young child to join my father who was a shipping executive. After college in New England, I have been living mostly in Europe with periods of international travel and work in New York.

The excitement and tensions of living in my “third culture” also led me to seek out the common denominator of the human experience. This yearning to identify the primal aspects of mankind and our struggle to adapt to ever-changing surroundings became my focus of interest.
